Nareen Lodge is a light and spacious home-like facility with a peaceful suburban setting in a seaside suburb. The facility is home to 32 residents and is dedicated to supporting people with dementia by offering specialised care for clients and residents suffering from cognitive impairments. The Lodge offers permanent and respite care as well as a dementia specific day centre which is open 7 days a week and provides clients with stimulating and enjoyable activities such as cooking arts & crafts and a mens group. The Lodge is built around a central landscaped courtyard with raised garden beds outdoor furniture and artwork by residents that can be viewed from the dining room to create an indoor / outdoor feeling for the residents dining experience. Nareen Lodge also features various sitting rooms to relax in and a hairdressing salon for pampering. The accommodation is spacious with each resident having their own single bedroom. Each bedroom has an ensuite with handrails an emergency call system and built-in wardrobe all within a secure building.
